People with Down’s syndrome make up about 0.1% of the total population in the UK, and roughly one in 1,000 children is born with the condition. The Down’s Syndrome Association, a charity that works to ensure that those with Down’s syndrome enjoy good lives, has just launched a photographic portrait exhibition at London’s Langdon Down Centre. The show was created to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and to tell people about the condition. Down’s syndrome Down’s syndrome is a genetic condition.
