The Diana Award The Diana Award was established in 1999 by the Government in the hope of continuing Princess Diana’s legacy. Its purpose is to help young people to change the world. Over the past 20 years, 48,000 young people across the world have been recognised for their work in improving communities. In addition, 28,000 young people have been trained to stand up to bullying as part of the Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme, set up by the Diana Award and funded by the Department for Education.
