There are lots of exciting stories that I particularly like in this week’s issue – Japan’s brilliant new bullet train, the discovery of a gigantic gold nugget in Australia, and of course the runaway emu (have you found them all?). I think my favourite of the lot, however, has to be the interview with Guirec Soudée on page 9. The French sailor travelled for four years around the world with only his pet hen Monique for company. He spoke to our writer Huw over the phone about his astounding adventure.
