Young riders cycle into spring

On 18 and 19 May, as part of British Cycling’s Let’s Ride pop-up programme, hundreds of young cyclists took part in traffic-free events in towns, cities and parks across the country. At many of these events you could hire bikes for free and pick up tips from cycling instructors. As the rides were held on short routes, people could cycle for a short time or for as long as they liked. Summer is a good time to get on a bike and get involved with British Cycling’s activities. There will be more of these rides staged throughout the next few months, and young people of all ages can sign up and come along, accompanied by an adult.
