Rare Roman coin discovered

A Roman coin has been unearthed during road works on the A14 in Cambridgeshire. The coin is only the second one of its kind found in England. It shows emperor Ulpius Cornelius Laelianus, who reigned for two months in AD269 before he died. Dr Steve Sherlock, who is the lead archaeologist (someone who studies evidence of past human activity) on the project, said that “discoveries of this kind are incredibly rare”.…
