Kigali, Rwanda Basketball Africa League begins On 16 May, the Basketball Africa League (BAL) started in Rwanda’s capital city, Kigali. The BAL is a basketball tournament featuring 12 teams from across Africa. It is being supported by the US National Basketball Association (NBA).
