Avatar sequel trailer arrives

The trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water – the sequel to the fantasy sci-fi epic from 2009 – blasted onto cinema screens in 3D last week. Avatar is the highest-grossing (made the most money) film ever but its sequel has been delayed for many years. It is the first of four planned sequels from 20th Century Studios, a film company now owned by Disney, to released over the next six years. The trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water begins on the fantasy world of Pandora. Viewers are soon plunged deep underwater into a strikingly different part of the planet.
