Looking out for mammals From bats to badgers, cities and towns are home to many mammals – but some species, like hedgehogs, are in trouble. The People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) has set up the Living with Mammals survey to encourage people to check their local green spaces (within 200 metres of a building) such as allotments, gardens and parks for any mammals. The trust wants you to record any you see and share your findings with PTES every week.
