Dai Woolridge says words are to have fun with.

Poetry can make you feel happy or sad, help you understand the world or express things about yourself – and on 21 March, it is celebrated because it’s World Poetry Day. Dai Woolridge, a children’s book author and spoken-word poet from Pontypridd, Wales, thinks poetry itself is a celebration of words. A spoken-word poet writes poetry and performs it.
