A funny way to mark a pothole A man who was fed up with the poor condition of a road near his village made a false pair of legs and placed them in a huge puddle in a pothole. A pothole is a hole that’s worn into a road surface. They can be quite deep and cause problems for road users. James Coxall and his family, from Cambridgeshire, England, made the “pothole person” from an old pair of jeans and some shoes and placed it in the puddle. When council workers came to fill the hole, the family took away the legs and they are now in their back garden.
