California, US Rock star’s plane finds new home A 1962 plane owned by the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, has been sold for more than £300,000. Presley was a famous US musician in the 1950s until his death in 1977. The red Lockheed JetStarOne had been sitting on a runway for the last 35 years, before being sold at auction in California, US, on 27 May. Inside the jet are the original luxurious red velvet seats and carpets. The jet has no engine so can‘t be flown.
