Back in time at Warwick Castle

“The first day of our half-term was spent at Warwick Castle. They had just opened their brand new War of the Roses Live jousting show and it was utterly amazing! We were asked to support either the House of Lancaster or the House of York in a reenactment of one of Britain’s most historic battles (I chose the White Rose of York). I wasn’t prepared for such a fierce battle because not only did they fight each other with swords right in front of me but also they thundered down the arena, smashing into each other with their lances, which shattered in the air when they struck each other.
