Wonder Woman arrives

The world has been waiting for her.

Last year, in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, two of the world’s most famous superheroes met head on – initially pitted in battle but eventually uniting to defeat a common foe. However, although Batman and Superman starred on the poster, they weren’t the film’s only heroes. They were helped on their way to victory by Wonder Woman – who now has her own film. Whereas Batman v Superman is set in the present day, Wonder Woman takes us back to the early 20th century and the dark days of the First World War. The film introduces us to the hero at home, on her mysterious island of Themyscira, where she lives with the Amazons, a tribe of warrior women.
