Did you have a good Jubilee weekend? We’ve got a report on p5 about the celebrations that happened up and down the country. I had a great time, meeting my neighbours – and sampling all five entries to the local Jubilee pudding competition. (Five helpings of pudding are too many, it turns out, although it was a delicious experiment.) I thought the Jubilee felt fantastic after the last couple of years. Socialising with neighbours at the lighting of the beacon – and then again to discuss puddings – felt like a happy follow-up to Covid, when all we could do was wave to each other during lockdown.
