The website game Wordle was a huge hit earlier this year, with more than two million players across many countries trying to guess its daily word. If it has sparked your interest in word puzzles, there are plenty of brilliant mobile games to test your letter skills on the Android and Apple app stores. Alphabear: Words Across Time is a great example. Each level starts with a grid of letters, from which you make words… and bears! The animals pop up if you use letters that are next to one another, and the bears get bigger as you spell more words. You can also unlock special powers to boost your points and time.
