RUNNING A CENTURY OF MARATHONS On 2 June, Fay Cunningham and Emma Petrie, from Scotland, completed their goal to run 106 marathons in 106 days. They have run 2,777 miles in total and have raised £25,000 for charity. They are hoping their challenge will be recognised as a new world record. HELPING A GIRAFFE CALF A three-month-old giraffe calf called Msituni has learned how to walk after she was given leg braces by zookeepers at San Diego Zoo, in the US. When she was born, Msituni’s front legs were bending in the wrong direction, making it difficult for her to walk and move around.
