PAINTING SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH A new painting of Sir David Attenborough has been unveiled. The artwork celebrates his 40 years of fellowship to the Royal Society (an organisation that promotes science and learning). The painting is on show until 7 July at the Royal Society in London. A LUCKY HEDGEHOG A poorly hedgehog that was found in frozen mud has been released back into the wild. The Holderness Hedgehog Hospital near Hull, England, nursed the animal. Vicky Pennington, from the hospital, said seeing the hedgehog – named Hope – take her first steps back in nature was “the best feeling in the world”.
