It has taken 74-year-old John Chatterton, from Birmingham in England, five years to visit all 223 UK islands where people live. He said, “Each island has a unique story to tell.” A NEW MAYOR, PATRICK THE PONY In Cockington, a village in Devon, England, a Shetland pony has been made the mayor. Patrick, a therapy pony who is taken to hospitals and helps raise money for charities, was given a special ceremony at the village pub.
