Countdown to The Hundred

Tymal Mills can’t wait for The Hundred cricket competition to begin on 3 August. Mills plays for Southern Brave, a team based in Southampton, England. Southern Brave men won The Hundred last year, and Mills wants to defend the title as they prepare to play Welsh Fire, from Cardiff, in the opening men’s match. “It’s really exciting. As defending champions, we want to start well, and there will be a great buzz around the ground,” Mills tells The Week Junior. The competition is called The Hundred because when two teams play in a match, each team bowls 100 balls.
