Crowned winners

Meet our deliciously inventive young writers… Earlier this year The Week Junior teamed up with the Guild of Food Writers for an exciting writing competition. The Guild’s Young Food Writer of the Year is an award for young people who love food and want to become writers. The theme for this special Jubilee year was “Food Fit for a Queen”. We received bundles of beautifully written, mouth-watering stories and we would like to thank absolutely everyone for entering the competition. The judges had the tricky task of choosing their favourites. The panel included expert food writers Tom Parker Bowles, Yotam Ottolenghi, Xanthe Clay and Samuel Goldsmith, along with Vanessa Harriss, acting editor of The Week Junior.
