Flying cars have long captured people’s imagination and they have been the star of many science-fiction films, such as Back to the Future and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Real-life car makers have been working on the idea for a very long time. Back in 1940, Henry Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, said, “Mark my words – a combination airplane and motor car is coming.
