Anti-bullying campaign launches

On 14 July, an anti-bullying campaign, Don’t Face It Alone, will be launched by the Diana Award. The Diana Award is a youth charity established in memory of Princess Diana. The charity says that every day, thousands of young people experience bullying and many stay silent because they don’t know what to do or are anxious about what will happen. The campaign aims “to change this by showing young people that they deserve to be heard” and raise awareness of support that is available. Celebrities who suffered bullying when they were younger have shared their experiences as part of the campaign. Diver Tom Daley recalled how he was bullied when he qualified for the Olympics.
