This week we had a lot of discussions about the cover. Should it be about the ceasefire in Gaza, Donald Trump or should we choose what’s most important to our readers? As you see, kindness won. It was chosen by young people as their word of the year (page 4) and author Peter Lantos prescribes being kind as the best rule for life (page 23). We’ve had some lovely letters from readers asking questions and sending in ideas. Recently I received one from Minerva with a very interesting article she’d written about how we should be talking more about eating insects as a planet-friendly choice.
