SPOTTING BIRDS The world’s largest garden wildlife survey is taking place this weekend (24–26 January). The Big Garden Birdwatch has been run by the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) for 46 years. Last year, more than 600,000 people counted 9.7 million birds. A WALK IN SPACE On 16 January, seven months after arriving at the ISS (International Space Station), astronaut Suni Williams went on a spacewalk. Williams travelled to the ISS last June with another astronaut, Butch Wilmore. Their trip was supposed to last eight days but they can’t yet return to Earth because of a technical problem. A HAIR DONATION Ruth Tripp from South Molton in Devon, England, has been awarded a Guinness World Record for donating 172 centimetres of hair to The Little Princess Trust.…
