Teenager’s cross country challenge

Running across wet fields and muddy paths in winter may not sound like fun, but in the sport of cross country running that’s exactly what you do. It can be tough but it’s a great way to exercise and many people enjoy it. Innes FitzGerald is one of Great Britain’s top young cross country athletes. “Running can be a funny thing. Often you don’t want to do it but once you’re out there it’s amazing,” the 18-year-old tells The Week Junior.
