Coin celebrates author

The Royal Mint, which makes the UK’s coins, has released a special £2 coin to celebrate the life and work of George Orwell, a British author. Orwell wrote many books including Animal Farm, about a group of animals who rebel against their human farmer and take control of the farm. The special coin’s design features a quote from a famous Orwell book called 1984: “Big brother is watching you.” The release marks the 75th anniversary of Orwell’s death.…
