Meals from a mega mushroom While on a family walk in Buckinghamshire, England, Alissimon Minnitt stumbled upon a giant mushroom in a field. The enormous fungus was a puffball mushroom and weighed a whopping five kilograms. Minnitt told the BBC, “It looks like something from another planet”. The puffball provided the family with meals for a whole week, including mushroom curry, mushroom “steaks”, and even mushroom pizza bases.
