A year of great movies

Look out for some familiar faces on the big screen.

This summer, get ready to blast off on a journey to the stars with Pixar’s Elio. In the film, Elio, a boy who is fascinated by aliens, is beamed into space. There, he meets members of an intergalactic organisation called the Communiverse but they mistakenly think he’s the leader of Earth. The mix-up leaves Elio having to tackle a crisis that is truly out of this world. A familiar alien face, Stitch, will be causing trouble in another Disney film in 2025. Lilo & Stitch, which arrives in cinemas in May, is a live-action version of the popular 2002 film of the same name.
