Portico Sadie Massey Awards The Portico Sadie Massey Awards (PSMA) reading and writing competitions are open to seven to 18-year-olds anywhere in the world. The reading award is for book reviews – these can be of any book or graphic novel, and you should explain what the book means to you. To enter the writing competition, create a short story set in the north of England in the past, present or future. You can enter both competitions for free. Everyone who enters in the UK will receive a unique PSMA notebook and bookmark. The closing date is 21 March.
