This month we celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is on 11 February. We heard about Jasmin Notarangelo last year but felt that she was a great person to feature on our People page in this issue about the day. It’s lovely that Jasmin thanks her biology teacher, Mrs Duff. If you’ve got a teacher you think deserves a shout out, you can nominate them for our Teacher of the Week (see opposite). It’s also Safer Internet Day on 11 February and the theme is how to avoid scams online.
