France’s flying Six Nations start

On 31 January, France started the men’s Six Nations rugby tournament with a big win against Wales. They won by 43 points to zero at the Stade de France, near Paris, and scored seven tries. It was the first time Wales had failed to score in a Six Nations match. The Six Nations is an important rugby union competition between teams in Europe that is held every year. France, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Italy all play one game against each other over a six-week period. There is also a women’s Six Nations tournament, which starts on 22 March.
