Stars dazzle at US Grammys

On 2 February, the Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, US. The annual event is one of the world’s best-known awards ceremonies. It recognises all sorts of music, including pop, rock, rap and reggae. The winners are chosen by people who work in the music industry. More than 90 awards were presented on the night. One of this year’s big winners was Beyoncé, who was awarded Album of the Year for her latest album Cowboy Carter. It was an important moment for the singer, who holds the record for the most Grammy Awards of any artist but had never won the best album prize. Beyoncé said she felt “honoured”.
