Humpback whale

A humpback whale recently became caught in some rope in the waters around the Isle of Skye, off the coast of Scotland. Rescuers used special knives attached to poles to safely cut the rope and free the animal. • LIFESPAN: Up to 90 years. • HABITAT: They are found in every ocean in the world. • SIZE: Up to 36 tonnes. • DIET: Krill (small creatures that look a bit like prawns and shrimp) and small fish. • FUN FACT: Humpbacks can travel as far as 5,000 miles in their yearly migration to breed.…
