Orchestra’s hospital visits

Every week, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) musicians visit Dorset County Hospital, in south-west England. They deliver performances and music activities for patients, families and staff. Since the visits began, the hospital said it has “seen a positive impact”. Sessions help calm younger patients, and aid others with their recovery. Matthew Bryant from Dorset County Hospital said the difference the BSO makes to how people feel is “truly inspiring”.…
