Chappell Roan wins Sound of 2025 Pop artist Chappell Roan has been named the winner of BBC Radio 1’s Sound of 2025. This is a list released each year to highlight rising musical talents. In the past, it’s been very good at predicting which artists would become really popular, such as Adele and Ellie Goulding. Chappell Roan has been making music since she was at school and her first album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, came out in 2023.
