Artist scoops a cool idea

Most people have an ice cream to cool down, but this artist uses choc ices and 99s to help people open up. Annie Nicholson found that talking about her feelings was easier over an ice cream. After some of her family died in a helicopter accident, the artist bought an ice cream van and called it the Fandangoe Whip. Now she tours festivals and parks, playing tunes over a loudspeaker and handing out ice creams that have questions about loss and grief tucked into the wrappers. Nicholson has also set up ice cream stands in London and New York, which she hopes will help more people talk about difficult emotions.…
