Holding on to hope

When she was 15, Malala Yousafzai was shot for speaking out against a ban on girls going to school by an extreme group that controlled her town in Pakistan. She survived the attack and was flown to the UK to recover, where she lives with her family. Yousafzai never gave up hope of returning to school. She continued her studies in Birmingham, before going to Oxford University and setting up the Malala Fund charity to campaign for girls’ education around the world.…
