Should the age limit of Fortnite be raised?

It’s a worldwide hit, but some people think it’s inappropriate for children.

Fortnite – and particularly its Battle Royale version – has taken the world by storm this year. The online multiplayer hit is played by millions of people, and despite having an official 12+ rating in the UK, many younger children also play the cartoon-style shooter. The game’s style is much less graphic than other shooting games, and it encourages positive behaviours like teamwork and strategy. Yet contestants win by killing their opponents with different weapons and surviving longer than anyone else, which has raised concerns that Fortnite encourages violence.
