Too tall for basketball US basketball player David Simon can no longer play in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) because he is too tall. Basketball players are usually tall, but KBL has decided to enforce height restrictions on foreign players. Out of the two non-Korean players each KBL team is allowed, one must be no taller than 1.85 metres, and the other no taller than 1.98 metres. Simon is 2.02 metres tall, which makes him too tall to play. Simon has already played in Bulgaria, France, Kazakhstan and Russia, so he’ll probably be jetting off to another league.
