The Avengers (“Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”) are assembling on the big screen once more – and this time, there are rather a lot of them. This film is the third in the Avengers series, following Avengers Assemble in 2012 and Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. However, the filmmakers have said that every film in the Marvel universe – since the very first Iron Man movie, which was released in 2008 – has been leading up to Avengers: Infinity War. That’s 18 films in total, just to get to this point.
