The artist with a sheep’s-eye view

Miranda Whall explored the Welsh mountains walking on all fours.

Many people choose to spend their summers somewhere warm, soaking up the sun, but not artist Miranda Whall. She decided to spend last summer in the Cambrian Mountains of Ceredigion, in her home country of Wales, dressed as a sheep, crawling on all fours, with 14 cameras attached to her. Every step was filmed for her art project, Crossed Paths. Whall was forced to tackle the tricky terrain – from boggy grassland and stony ground to rocky streams and barbed-wire fences – on her hands and knees.
