The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy. It is the third child for the duchess, who is usually known as Kate, and her husband, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. Who are the duke and duchess? Prince William is the Queen’s grandson and the son of Prince Charles and his first wife, Princess Diana, who died in 1997. He was born in 1982 and will become king after his father. In 2011, William married Kate, whom he met when they were both at university, and the Queen named them the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
