Create a cinematic effect

We can’t promise you fame and fortune, but here's how to make your images look like they're straight from a Hollywood movie!

PRESS PAUSE DURING a blockbuster movie and take a moment to study the image in front of you – even as a still shot it instantly looks like a scene from a movie doesn’t it? Films have a certain aesthetic to them and this can usually be attributed to two main aspects handled during the ‘grading’ of the film – contrast and colour. We’re going to aim to replicate that movie look in a still image. Before you start, it’s a good idea to seek out frames from movies that you want to replicate.
