Know the difference ■ VIBRANCE AND SATURATION There’s often confusion surrounding Vibrance and Saturation sliders in Lightroom. At first glance they can appear to do much the same thing, but there are clear differences in the results you get from each. The main difference is that the Vibrance slider is designed not to affect colours that are already highly saturated. In most cases, this makes it useful for applying a universal adjustment without over-saturating those colours which are already nice and bright. Furthermore, the Vibrance slider will also not affect hues similar to those found in skin tones.
