Coming off an ECHL championship, Josh Ho-Sang has been busy, developing a social-networking app and putting out a rap album. Now, he just needs to find a team to play for this season

JOSH HO-SANG IS LOOKING for connection. The 28-year-old right winger, a one-time New York Islanders prospect who played the last two months of 2023-24 with the ECHL’s Florida Everblades, has been reconnecting with the game in his comeback to professional hockey. He has been connecting with fans through music, with one rap album out and another on the way. And he hopes to connect people to each other through a mobile app he’s developing. The app, called PUP Sports, is something of a social-media platform for active people. It can be used to set up or find pickup games, meet for workouts or hold gatherings to watch sporting events.
