READERS, LET ME FILL you in on a little secret: Draft Preview is my favorite issue of the year, and yet it is also the most nerve-racking. That’s because of the top 100 rankings, the centerpiece of what we do in these pages. I love putting these rankings together because it involves talking to scouts from around the world and trying to distill their varying opinions on players into one cohesive list that, hopefully, gives you the best idea of what will happen when the selections are actually made at the NHL draft in Las Vegas on June 28-29.
