He’s younger than most of his NTDP mates and isn’t eligible for this year’s draft due to a late birthday, but Logan Hensler has all the tools of a blueline stud

DATING BACK TO last season, defenseman Logan Hensler was already raising eyebrows with his skill set for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program. Due to an October birthday, the 2006-born Hensler isn’t eligible for the NHL draft until 2025, but he still got an invite to this year’s All-American Prospects Game and proved why he belonged with the top U.S. kids up for the 2024 prospect call. (Fellow NTDP late birthdays James Hagens and Shane Vansaghi were also there.)
