ONE OF THE FIRST things that comes up when you type Tucker Tynan’s name into Google is a video with an accompanying headline that screams, “HE CHEATED DEATH!” (Yes, in all caps with an exclamation mark!) Five months after the fact, as the then 17-year-old calmly took questions via FaceTime from his home in Deerfield, Ill., looking healthy and recovered, Tucker Tynan wasn’t sure how to respond when asked if he felt as though he had actually cheated death. “I don’t know…I mean it was really unfortunate,” he said. “I don’t know. I really don’t know how to feel about that. Kind of gives me a weird feeling.”
