Jack Silverman scored the only goal of the game early in the second period, and Noah Pak posted the shutout as the Ontario-based Blues won their first Centennial Cup with a 1-0 victory over the Melfort Mustangs from Saskatchewan. Silverman will play at Middlebury College in Vermont next season, while Pak is headed to Yale. Blues coach Andrew Campoli’s Centennial Cup roster featured 12 players who played in the 2023 event, where the Blues lost to the Ottawa Jr. Senators in the quarterfinals. “We were the only team in this year’s tournament that was there last year, so it’s good we could finish the job,” Campoli said. “They were a bigger team, but everybody put their body on the line and did their job.” Collingwood went undefeated…
