DETERMINED. TENACIOUS. Driven. These are adjectives best used to describe Aiden Fink. Unassuming at 5-foot-11 and teetering at the 165-pound mark, the 19-year-old Fink is well aware he’s not the biggest dog in the yard. In a big man’s sport, size is often a factor for the dismissal of players, with speed, skill and guts required to carry the day. Fink has all three in spades, but perhaps his greatest attribute, that irrefutable X-factor, is a burning passion for hockey. Sitting in his Calgary home during the holiday break from Penn State University, the underrated winger reminisced on his early obsession with the game that has come to define his life.
